Art Beat is a public access television show that "keeps its finger on the pulse of the arts community." This show debuted on May 4, 2001. This show is produced by Kinte Fergerson and hosted by Miriam Fergerson. The shows range from stand alone one on one-interview shows of artists, to music performances, panel discussion, looks at festivals etc. The goal of Art Beat is to inform, entertain, and enlighten. Taumbu and his International Ensemble perform the shows theme song “Song to the Ancestors”.
